Mécaniciens de locomotives (H/F)

Job description

Conduite des trains TPF et surveillance des instruments de bord, dans le respect des réglementations en termes de signalisation, d'horaire et de conditions météorologiques, sur le réseau TPF. Contact permanent avec le centre d'exploitation et les gares afin de réagir rapidement et de manière adéquate à tout événement ou perturbations imprévus.

Work experience required

  • En possession du permis de conduire des véhicules moteurs catégorie B selon OCVM
  • Au bénéfice de quelques années d'expérience dans un poste similaire, un atout
  • Disposé à travailler selon des horaires irréguliers et le week-end
  • Sens des responsabilités et esprit d'initiative en toutes circonstances
  • Résistance au stress
  • Parfaite maîtrise du français et bonnes connaissances de l'allemand
  • Casier judiciaire exempt de toute inscription

On-going training

For TPF, staff training is not only essential in order to ensure a high-quality service to the end user but also for the personal development of the workforce itself. This is why all the staff are offered an on-going training programme each year. The training programme includes various courses on topics such as conflict management, team leadership and IT. Training also includes giving thought to the staff of the future by ensuring that there are apprenticeships available in the workshops and in administration.

Apprenticeships

TPF consider it extremely important to provide training for young adults upon completion of their compulsory education. In order to ensure that the youngsters can select a professional training course that is to their liking and that they can work in a pleasant environment, TPF SA offer young adults the possibility to do a mini-placement in our workshops and in our administrative offices at the end of their compulsory education.

From the very start of their apprenticeship, TPF ensure that our young employees receive the necessary support, advice and recommendations from our keen and highly qualified apprenticeship instructors. During their training, they are also offered courses within the company or visits to other TPF sites.
